- I spent +30 years in the technology industry as a sales professional & senior leader. I spent the last 17 years at Microsoft leading a team and managing a large financial services business for in the Midwest.
- As I moved up the corporate ladder, my stress increased, and I overate and overdrank to compensate for the pressures of the day.
- Mix in menopause and the weight piled on.
- I've been on every major diet out there. Everything worked short-term, nothing kept the weight off long-term.
- I don't want to know how much money I have invested in programs, special foods and shakes, exercise equipment, gym memberships and apps.
- I had a closet full of clothes in multiple sizes that didn't fit and just hung as a reminder of my continued failure.
- Worst of all, I felt like I was the only one who just couldn't 'get it'. I was successful in so many areas of my life, but just couldn't seem to master my weight loss long-term.
